We use a continuous belay system — the gold standard in rope course safety. From the moment you hook on, accidental disconnection is physically impossible. No clipping and unclipping at every obstacle.
Our trained adventure guides accompany you through the entire course. You are never alone at height. This is fundamentally different from self-guided parks where guests manage their own safety clips at every transition.

❓ What time should I arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked slot to check in, get weighed, and be fitted with a safety harness. Late arrivals will need to reschedule.
❓ Can I bring food and drinks?
BYO food and birthday cake are welcome at Chimp & Zee Rope Adventure Park Krugersdorp. Bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks, all fully welcome. Please take your litter with you when you leave.
❓ Do I need to be fit?
Basic fitness is all you need. If you can climb stairs, you’re good to go! Our guides support you throughout the course at your own pace.
❓ Can I bring personal items?
No loose items on the course. Lockers are available at the venue. Phones, bags, and valuables must be secured before you start.
❓ Can pregnant guests participate?
For safety reasons, pregnant individuals are not permitted on the course. We’d love to welcome you back after your little one arrives!
❓ What is the rescheduling policy?
Rescheduling requests must be made at least 5 hours before your booked slot. No refunds are issued for no-shows or incomplete courses.
❓ What should I wear?
Activewear and closed-toe shoes. No flip-flops or bare feet. Avoid loose jewellery and dangling accessories on the course.
❓ How long does it take?
The course takes approximately 30–60 minutes depending on your pace and ability. After completing the course, you have 1 hour of relaxation time.
❓ What if I get scared and want to stop?
Our guides are with you every step. If you need assistance, they’ll safely guide you down. Note that refunds are not offered for incomplete courses.
❓ What about weather?
The park closes during rain, lightning, and high winds. If your session is cancelled due to weather, rescheduling may be offered at management’s discretion as a goodwill gesture and is not guaranteed. No refunds for weather closures.
❓ Do you offer group bookings?

❓ Is there access to the Water Park?
The day-adventure ticket does not include water park access. Book the Combo ticket (R320 standard / R360 public holidays) to include both in one day.
